For more than 19 years, the Escambia County
Regional Child Advocacy Center has provided services and resources for
child victims of sexual abuse and severe physical abuse. The center is a
child friendly facility where children who are suspected to have been abused can
be interviewed and assessed with the goal of obtaining accurate information,
which is then shared with professionals on the multidisciplinary team (MDT). The
ultimate goal is to protect children and to hold offenders accountable.
